I just returned from a trip to Athens, Greece flying US Air. I was flying with a group of High School students on an educational trip. We left Pensacola, FL into Charlotte into Phillidelphia and then on to Greece….all on US Air. I was terrified and very uncomfortable the entire trip. The plane was nasty and felt lke a coffin crossing the Atlantic. The service was deplorable and rude. Never again will I fly this airline and am just very thankful we flew back on a German airline.

I agree with you on hindering more than it helps. I think he’s trying to make it more uniform for the passengers, but ultimately it depends on the fleet of aircraft the airline has.

The research company where i work just ran a study on the pilots untimely death.

The vast majority of people know they are safe if the pilot is unable to fly and think continental acted reasonably.

It’s about time the FAA is doing something about the number of runway incursions. The NTSB has had runway incursion prevention on the top of its list for several years now, and it finally looks like some progress is being made! ASDE-X, along with this new system, should significantly reduce the number of runway incursions…this is exciting news!

I looked on Emirates’s website, and it says that the flight should arrive at 15:45 (3:45pm).
